Contribution to my Learning

As part of the Applied Digital Learning program, I have taken time to evaluate my growth as both a learner and a contributor to our learning community. This reflection looks at what worked well, where I can continue to grow, and how my collaboration with others has shaped my journey.
Numerical Score
I chose a score of 92 because I worked hard to meet all key contributions and often went beyond—actively engaging with my group and forums, revising work after feedback, and completing all materials. Moving forward, I can improve by seeking feedback earlier and managing my time more efficiently during busy periods. I have worked really hard this entire program!
What Is Working
Throughout this course, I stayed engaged with all materials, met deadlines, and revised my work based on feedback while keeping my reflections connected to my innovation project. A key strength was collaboration—working with peers who challenged and supported me pushed my thinking, helped solve problems, and inspired new approaches.
What I Could
Do Better
While I am proud of my progress, I recognize I could start feedback and revision cycles earlier in each module. There were times when life events—such as getting married, moving, and starting a new job—slowed my momentum. In the future, I will build in more buffer time and schedule check‑ins with peers sooner so I can make refinements earlier in the process.
My Learning Community
One of the best parts of this journey has been my base group. From the start, I intentionally chose classmates with experience and knowledge I admired. Together we’ve supported one another through late‑night brainstorming sessions, detailed feedback, and honest reflections about what was working and what wasn’t.

Final Reflection
Overall, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve met the course goals, strengthened my innovation plan, and built strong connections with peers who continue to inspire me. One of the biggest lessons I’m taking away is that growth happens through community—having a group of supportive peers makes all the difference. I’ve also learned that I now have the skills to create videos, design instruction, and use tools like Mightier to help students build emotional control.
This program has been challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned as I continue to grow as a digital learner and leader.
