This week has been a little bit different than the previous in my ADL journey. This week we shared our Innovation Proposal / ePortfolios with the entire class. We are focusing on feedback, more specifically feedforward. I was the first to post of all 23 pupils. I am still waiting on someone to review what I shared, and I cannot wait to share this info with you in my future blog! It is interesting to see others sites and to learn from it! In my other class, I am reviewing other peoples ePortfolios that have completed this degree. I have found numerous features I have already added or plan to in the future to make my site more detailed and personal. I specifically like the menu drop down option, however after review in WIX, it really is adding a subpage and linking it. Or at least this is what I found to work.
We have continuously been learning about CSLE and COVA. This is the learning approach I am utilizing for my Masters Degree. They have presented me with this new style and I can see if being beneficial for not just me, but for my future students. I was introduced to CSLE + COVA (Harapnuik, n.d.). CSLE stands for 'Creating a Significant Learning Environment' and COVA is a learning approach offering students 'Choice, Ownership, and Voice through Authentic learning opportunities.' This has really changed the way I have learned so far in this class. These classes have given me the opportunity to really shine. The growth mindset I have developed has also been beneficial for my learning. I feel like I have been booted from my normal intellectual comfort. I am working outside of the box. As I view others sites this week, I can really see the ideas behind COVA. Everyone's ePortfolio was showing their choice, ownership, and voice. We have been provided an authentic learning opportunity to present this and receive feedback!
