I feel so lucky! I found a group of fellow students to work with not only for these next 7 weeks, but possibly for the remainder of my graduate program. I started off this week feeling overwhelmed, however each day I learned more, was supported by my group, and to top it off - I even learned about how to change my mindset to really be successful. This week I worked with my group on my first set of discussion posts at this college. My last 3 years at WGU was entirely self paced. I never had any interaction with other students, but now my actual grade is dependent on them. I can do this. I am creating my first e-portfolio. My group was communicating on what site to use and shared their projects. Wordpress and blogger were complicated and noone has time for that. Canva and wix were easier and wix the smoothest of them all. Another group member mentioned that AI helped her with her on wix. I had to try it out! When I went the wix website, I created a login and password. The next screen literally was asking if I wanted AI To help or to do it on my own. I went the AI route and said 1 key word and it started setting up using an already programmed template. Yes please. That's all I have done so far except this blog. This grad school is for digital technology and has made me realize how much I get to learn, and that I know slim to none on this subject. I am excited though to fill in my e-portfolio with important information about myself and my learning. I can't wait to see and contribute to my groups projects, as well as them critique mine. I used AI image creator for the pic icon on this blog. I typed in 'pretty blonde student with red lamar u shirt happily working on black laptop'. This is how I see myself working. I hope through my work, I can provide you with any information that could possibly help you grow in your journey too.
