White Structure

Step 1

We have to become aware of those internal thoughts that limit our growth and hold us back. This voice often surfaces as doubt, fear of failure, or thoughts like, "I can't do this," or "I'm just not good at it." Recognizing when this voice appears is the first step toward change.

Embrace Your Fixed Mindset

When I first considered using the Mightier app for emotional regulation with students, I felt uncertain. I wondered if the technology might distract from traditional, hands-on methods for exploring emotions, or if it would feel too impersonal for such a sensitive area of learning. I questioned whether students would connect with it meaningfully or if it would be challenging to integrate into the classroom routine. However, after researching its biofeedback approach and seeing case studies of its success, I began to understand its potential. By showing students their heart rate changes in real time, the app could help them develop a deeper awareness of their emotions and physical responses. This insight opened my eyes to how technology could enhance, rather than replace, emotional learning by providing a unique way for students to build self-regulation skills
